vB 4, CMS in directory home and forum on sub directory

I have a question about the upcoming vB 4 publishing suite, I currently have my forum setup in a sub directory while the main site is in the home directory i.e. home page comes up at mysite.com and forum comes up at mysite.com/forum/. I also have articles etc. which are setup at mysite.com/articles/.

Now with the publishing suite and CMS, would it be possible to keep the same directory format or would I have to switch to a new directory format?

The CMS is installed as a package with the forums and blog into one directory. They cannot be seperated.

It's been addressed by the staff as well. Read below:

It will be installed in the same directory. You can specify which page you want to use as the homepage so your forums can remain the front page if you wish. If you want the impression of sub-directories, than the built in Friendly URLs will build that for you automatically.
