Anyone know how 3.8.* security updates will work since we can't renew anymore? Will we have to upgrade to 4.* to get patches should an exploit surface?

    The FAQ says:
We will provide security updates according to the support schedule. However it is possible that some security fixes will require upgrading to the latest version.
Anybody have a link to a support schedule with dates on it?

I'm very disappointed in how Jelsoft has handled this transition. The cost of keeping vBulletin at the latest version seems to have doubled overnight with little done to mitigate the confusion. Also, forching blog users to buy your CMS sucks. I already have a custom CMS that plugs into vBulletin. Having to buy your CMS just to get back blog support is silly.

They will probably bang out a few v3 releases, but if you dont want you v4 version frozen, then you're going to have to pay - sooner or later.
