vB4 Upgrade paid for...but current licence expiring in Dec

Hi,

Not sure if this has been covered elsewhere, but I have just paid the $130 upgrade for vB4 Publishing Suite, which I am pretty excited about. My current annual licence vB3.8.4 + Blog expires in December...

What happens in between as I doubt vB4 will will be out before my current annual licence expires? Can it be extended until vB4 Gold is released?

Also, I was about to purchase a 2nd licence. Is there a deal for current licence users to get a discount similar to the upgrade for a second vB4 licence?? Or is it just the $50 off on the pre-sale and then install 3.8.4 until 4.0 is realeased?

I also just upgraded to V4.0 although i don't see anything to download.. So i guess they have not released V4.0 yet? When is the expected release date if true? kind of want to start using it.

Since "Pre-Sale" ends October 30, I am not expecting version 4 until the 31st.

My understanding is that when you upgraded, your license now doesn't expire. The current Members Area probably doesn't have any handling for "no expiration". They have mentioned they are redesigning the Members Area (I believe it's in the FAQ).

Since you don't have another license to "upgrade", it looks like a 2nd license would be $50 off. But if you have at least 4 licenses already, your next purchase would have another ~$15 off, based on their bulk pricing (and assuming the purchase forms work the way the home page and FAQ imply).

I had the same question as far as "Can I still run my 3.X board if I buy a 4.x version" and was officially told "Yes". What actual conditions if any I don't know such as for how long, etc. However if you do a search on threads I started here, you'll be able to find the thread, it's buried now.
