    advise please vbulletin purchase

    im thinking of making the purchase of vbulletin , but i know vb4 is due for relase soon, so i was wondering how easy the upgrade path will be from 3.8 to 4....

    should i make the purchase now or wait till v4 releases?

      Active license holders will recieve a discount for the upgrade. Upgrading is very easy, as described in the manual, upload files, and run upgrade.php in the install folder

          No official announcement has been made about that yet. So that might not be correct - Please correct me if i am wrong.

                  Regardless, nothing official has been posted.

                  To the OP, I too would expect the upgrade path from vB3.8.3 to vB4 to be straightforward. But my recommendation would be not to go to heavily in editing templates or adding mods/hacks.
