vB Support Mode

Does vB still come with the option of using it as a Support System?

If so, can I set it up as....

domain.com/forum and support.domain.com and have one database of users work for both? (with two licenses of course)

vBulletin project tools can be used as a support system, but it's not meant as one. There's no "support system" addon for vBulletin.

By default you can not install one instance on one site and another licensed instance on another site and share the database.

No, it's a project management tool, not a support ticket system.

You can use it as one, but you have to install it, and then go through the permissions.

I've been on the team selling this software for quite some years, doing daily installs, etc. I do not remember having that question ever. Perhaps you are thinking of a plugin for vB? from vborg? ..

There was a pretty good support suite for vBulletin (vBSupport or something) but that was for 3.5.x.

Doesn't play nice at all with 3.8
