What version of vb 4.x will have all functions included that vb 3.8.2 has?

But all in all, everything in vB 3 should be in vB 4

Because they are rewriting vbulletin, so they are basically throwing vb3 away and starting anew. vb 4 will be completed in phases. I have read several comments here and on other sites, by admins that expected that vb4 would be lacking some functionality and they would have to wait until a later version of vb4.x to get on par with vb 3.8.2 in that respect.

Can anyone from Jelsoft please shed light on this?

I am not aware of any features being eliminated in vB4.

That means the only delays with upgrading will be to wait for addons to be adjusted and any possible vb 4.0 bugs to be fixed.
