vBulletin incorporated into my site?

I am interested in purchasing vBulletin and making forums a large part of my site, however there will be several pages of the site that are not forum related - just static html pages. I am hoping to be able to have a consistent design and navigation throughout the site. I would also like to pull stuff from the forums/database (ex. photos, recent posts, etc...) to highlight on some of the non-forum pages.

Is this possible?
Are there sites out there like this?

All of the vBulletin sites I have seen are just the forums and no other pages.

As for non-vB pages you are only limited by your own knowledge and experience.

As far as displaying recent posts goes, it is easily doable and thats what I do on my website's home page.

As far as design goes, mine is not like that of my forum, however if you hire a web site designer who can also code vbulletin template then it is easily possible.

Making static HTML pages which share the style/coding of vBulletin is quite easy. 'How to make vBulletin-powered pages' is the name of the article over at vBulletin.org.

Hum, I am reading your thread and am a little confuzed. Do you want these pages to be incorperated with the forum, or do you just want to keep the current pages as they are
