  • About to buy question about 'Leased License Upgrade'

    Hi,

My license recently expired and I noticed Vbulletin know longer has the "Owned" license option but a 'Leased License Upgrade' which pretty much does the same thing. My question here is, do I have to buy the 'Leased License Renewal' and then buy 'Leased License Upgrade' ? Which would make it a total of $280? Or can I just skip over 'Leased License Renewal' and buy the 'Leased License Upgrade' for the total price of $180.

I'm very sorry if this question was already answered. I searched around and didn't find anything.

Just do the 'Leased License Upgrade' for $180.

Alright thank you. Although this is a little offtopic, and perhaps not the right place to ask. But I recall a few years ago an owned license was $300. Is there a reason for such a dramatic price drop? Am I losing something that the $300 owned license had that the $180 no longer has?

No, an owned license was never $300. It was $160 from 2000-2008, then changed to $180 just last year.
