  • CakePHP & vBulletin integration - Universal Login

After googling for 2-3 days, I am here with some of my questions regarding CakePhp and vBulletin integration. Before buying the license, I like to know answers to some of my question. I hope I will get suggestion from you guys.

    1. I am trying to integrate users of my application (developed in CakePHP) with vBulletin. User have to log only once to use the features of my application and vBulletin. Is it possible? If show, would you please show me the right direction?

    2. Can we extract statistics of the user activity in forum like no. of post submitted, etc. in the Application?

    Thanks

    1. Integrating vBulletin with a non-vB member system would require a rather extensive modification of the code. Of course, we cannot provide official support for code modifications. What most people do is modify their current system to use the vB member system.

Either way the place for help with this would be over at the mod site: http://www.vbulletin.org

Once you register you can post in the Pre-Sales forum there.

    2. Yes, you would just write the appropriate code to query the database for the required info and display it.
