Username Colors

I am getting vBulletin in three months and wanted to know if there was a way to make usernames have a color.

Examples:

Admin: Red
Mods: Blue
Founders: Blue

Yes, you can change the color of usernames on a per-usergroup basis.

You can do more then just colours too, you can use different formatting too. Each user group has an option for HTML code that is to be placed in front and behind a user name with that group set as it's display group.

You can set it when editing a usergroup.

As Nick said, under Usergroup Permissions one of the first options is going to be 'HTML Markup'.

To test this out, try the following:

In the first box put <b> and in the second box put </b>.

In the first box put <i> and in the second box put </i>.

In the first box put <font color="red"> and in the second box put </font>.

In the first box put <b><font color="blue> and in the second box put </font></b>.

Do these individually to the Administrator usergroup to get an idea of what it's capable of.
