I really want this package, but got some ?'s

So lets say I have www.domain.com and I want this Forum Package on there. But I have a template idea(front page idea I have in my head) that I want for my front page, can I some how change the forum set up, like to have tabs on my site instead of the boards on the main page?

For example, I have 2 categories on my forum on the front page: cars and boats.

but instead, I want my front page to look different, and would rather have a tab option, so when they click on the 'Cars' tab, it would open to that forum. Is that possible?

What's a good place to find a server, and domain? I was looking at GoDaddy.com but the Server options seemed a bit small in memory...

Also about purchasing: If I have it for 15 days, and just CAN-NOT-GET it. Just don't like it or understand it...Whats the refund policy? I didnt seee it...

If you don't mind, I have more questions after, but I don't want to make it to long to where ppl stop reading >_<

Sorry just really wanna get this implimented soon, and it's just been draggin it's feet by emailing support each day..(nothing bad with them) just want a lil faster, detailed response...

    No refunds.
In a few months time you may be able to sell it.

vB5 is unequivocally the best forum software, but not yet...

Is my purchase of the software, and the license, for a year, or do I pay for the software monthly after? (I know the license is for a year)

Leased license you pay yearly for the ability to RUN the software AND download updates.

Owned license you pay yearly for the ability to DOWNLOAD updates. If you are not interested in updating your version number you can keep your current board online without paying ever again (i.e. you own it forever - it's a lifetime license)

Once I buy this, will it tell me how to add this to my site?

Yes there's a vbulletin manual online. It's really quite simple! Plus we're always here if you have trouble.

Thanks! This package is really everything I need, but I'm really scared cause I don't know ANYTHING about coding or HTML or anything of that sort. I just thought of creating a forum for social boards, and started it. We currently have 80 members and so that made me want to create a real one...Suggestions to something I might want to watch for in this package, or look for? Or anything in general that might help ease my worries about my possible failurism of this.

Ya, I made that word up

Whenever you think of something, concentrate on success, not on failure. Explore the benefits of going ahead and buying this software if you're planning to do so. Do not forget about the huge modifications resource at www.vbulletin.org.

Anyway, my succestion is try it before buying.

You don't need any knowledge of HTML or coding in general to set up and use the board.

Heheh, go right ahead, though I doubt you'll ever have to resort to that to get help here.

From the looks of it you're right, and this is the first place that someone hasn't been rude for not knowing anything about HTML or coding. Much love guys (and gals for those out there) much love.
