Im buying a Owned license second hand and i was wondering what the best corse of action is?

currently the transaction is taking place threw the private message feature on another Vbulletin forum.

The licences is supposibly Owned and expires on March 24th 09 (making it fall under transferable since its been owned for more then 3 months)
im buying it for 55 dollars with i think is almost to good to be true
what information do i need to provide to check if its legit?

the payment will be made via paypal.

i just need to know what info i need for you guys to verify it

On top of that, you'd want to get the license holder to give you the licensed email address, and the license number, so we can verify whether or not it is valid for transfer for you. We cannot, however, initiate the transfer on your request; the request MUST come from the original license holder, via the member's area. We will then need to perform a series of verification procedures, and confirm everything is in order before we can transfer it. The process, depending on everyone's response speed, can be quite lengthy... longgest one I've seen is around 7 months and counting (no joke; seven, months.)... but that's kind of a special case where both parties decided to stop replying to our contact for reasons beyond any of our understanding...

Its going to take you seven months to verify that his license is legit?

i read that article before i posted here its not clear at all how i do this

so let me get this strait he needs to go in to the members section and say that hes giving it to me then provide my email and payment information
and then they will transfer it to me?

The license owner needs to contact us. There are no guarantees and you are fully responsible for any possible scamming.
