  • running old version on mysql 4+ need to move to mysql 5+

Greetings, I RUN fantasticforum.com, its version 2.33 running on MySQL 4+.

I am moving to a new dedicated server that has MySQL 5+

Will my board work with newer MySQL?

If not how fast can I get my forum UPDATED by your techs?

ON ANOTHER NOTE .. - I purchased another TEMP license last year never used it to update vbb. However, my license was orginally a FULL LIFE TIME LICENSE.

    however

    Thanks

There may be some problems with certain functionality using a newer version of MYSQL with 2.X. However most of these are cleared up by making sure that MySQL is not running in Strict Mode.

To have vBulletin update to the latest version takes about 48 hours after the installation worksheet is filled out and it is assigned to support staff.
