Converting from SMF 1.1.4 to Vbulletin ? any experience ?

I want to purshass another Vbulletin licence and i want to convert my site ( SMF 1.1.4 ) to Vbulletin .
I have 3000 members and more than 1000 posts + attachements .

I would like to know if the convesrion can conserve the Features of my forum .. because i saw a forum ( converted from smf to VB ) which lost its members passwords and profiles ... so i wonder if it will be OK while transfering to VB .

You wont lose members profiles but unfortunately ImpEx cannot import SMF passwords, so every user will have to reset their password, assuming they used a real email address in their user profile.

Also permissions are not imported either, so you will have to reset those. But just about everything else from boards, board structuring, thread,s posts and PM's will be imported iirc.
