What can I do with Vbulletin?

I am on a free forum maker right now but doesnt allow much options in the customization aspect. I am looking to add animated banners for sponsors, have font options, browse PC option for pictures etc. Also is there any other charges for Vbulletin after the package is bought? Just trying to get some info first before I buy it. Not used to Vbulletin so I would be lost for awhile when starting out. Thanks in advanced.

for good idea on extensions you can get from the original script is by visiting the Modification site; http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=198 ... there is a ton of features you can modify or add... and you can request more when in need of.
