  • Question about inserting HTML

Hello, i've been using a SMF forum and there, I'm able to insert HTML code directly by using an admin only tag, the [html] tag.

I'd like to switch to vBulletin but, after having googled a for a while, I dont find how to do the same in VBulletin.

With VB, the [html] tag is used for text formating and syntax coloring.

Is it possible to insert HTML code directly in VBulletin posts?

    Thanks for the answer.

You can give various usergroups the permissions to use html in posts. I would reserve it to admins or mods simply because of the security implications.

Actually there is no option in vB to allow HTML posting by usergroup.

I thought I had done that one time ??

        So, it's just by forum....?

I C what I had done- I turned it on for that forum when I needed it, then turned it back off to keep others from using it.

Would be nice if we could control it with usergroups though.
