should i convert or not ???

hi daniel here

i have been running smf for a year now
and have a few small problems that affect me and a couple that affect others on my site

my question is
should i convert smf to vbulletin
or just do a whole new site and start over
there arent that many posts that are that important to keep i spose
but i feel that it may annoy people that they need to start over again
i am looking to do this in the new year soon

better galery
better arcade ( with tournements )
better skins
things like vbookie and casino

If you are getting vBulletin, then there's no reason to start over, as vBulletin's importing tool ImpEx is free of charge and can convert SMF's data over.

However, please note that:
There is no default gallery/arcade/casino/bookie support. You may be able to find free third party addons from vbulletin.org and install them yourself, however, we cannot provide support for the addons.

Finally, as to skin, there are a wide range of skins freely available on vbulletin.org and download section down below. So that one is definetly a plus

i think i may have confused you
am looking for a forum that i can have a better gallery , arcade and so on
i dont mind having to go elsewhere for suport
thats what i do now .
just as long as these elements can be used with a vbulletin forum
