Few questions before I buy
Hello everyone,
Have just joined and have to say that I've found lots of information already. But there are a few questions that I can't find the answer to so hope someone can help me.
I currently have a proboards forum. When I started it I never thought it would be popular but now have almost 1000 members and I feel it's time to get a system that I own myself and have more control over, vBulletin appears to meet my needs.
So, the questions:
1. Manual importing of threads:
From searching old threads I understand that I can't import my proboard forum automatically into vBulletin but can I import threads manually? I would be willing to put in the time to do it but need to know if it's possible.
2. Post counts:
My members are very proud of their post counts and would probably be disappointed to have to start from zero again. Is it possible for admin to modify their profiles in vBulletin and specify their post count to what it was on the old forum?

Activation Email:
Because some email accounts such as Yahoo/Hotmail/AOL automatically delete what they 'think' is spam, some members never receive their activation email so cannot activate their accounts.(This happens even when the user has set their email options to allow all messages). Proboards have an option to allow people to join without activating their account, is this possible with vBulletin?
