A question around "Copyright Visibility"

Hey, not to steal the thread or anything just a simple question related.

If I buy VB, would I be allowed to change the Powered by vBulletin line and Copyright Jelsoft etc into a couple of images for security reasons? So people searching in search engines don't go searching them lines trying to find out of date versions with security holes in case I don't upgrade right away?

If not may I at least remove the version number without paying for copyright removal? Since technically the copyright is still pretty much in full.

Its not something that always happens overnight, it takes time sometimes.

You'd think so, but nope. Many days later, the copyright is still black on very dark green.

No. You must have 'vBulletin' and you cannot insinuate the site is powered by anything else.

No, as the powered by stands for who creates the script not where or who it is hosted by.

It is who makes the script. So the answer would be no.
