Creating a front page w info from the community

i am trying to create a really cool front page. I was in here about three weeks ago and there was a person that posted a question.... is there a program that i could buy that can create really cool front pages and have post that show up and recient visitors. It reads information from the forum and post it on the front page. Any help would be great.
