Best Server for vBulletin

Point me to a good server for vBulletin if I should happen to buy it. Right now I am using Ikonboard 3.1.2a on PowWeb. Some days it is very fast but most of the time it is very slow.

I have about 1457 users.

Fast and slow doesn't matter on the specifications. per say. But the load on the server is the issue.
