What do you think is the cheapest way in buying vBulletin?

Not meaning to sound cheap, but I'm a student (only 15 years of age infact) also I want to update my forum to vBulletin. I own a basketball forum, and vBulletin seems as though this is the clear cut winner. In terms of forum softwares.

Also, what are some ways are paying?
Which is the fastest.

Are there any hidden costs.

Which way should i go about getting vBulletin.

As far as hidden costs go the only hidden costs if any are taxes which depends on your country of residence. Upgrading from SMF does work but all users will have to reset their passwords.

http://www.vbulletin.com/faqsales.php includes a fair bit of information on purchasing etc.... and is worth a read.

Personally I paid via PayPal and had my forum up and running within 1 to 2 hours (including converting from SMF to vBulletin)

Is there a converter i use to do this. Also when using it, is the transfer quick and easy, or does it take time?
