  • vbAdvanced vs. vbPortal vs. vbDrupal vs. Joomla

I am considering buying vbulletin but want the best csm I can get to go along with it. I have no experience with any of this stuff. I've been scouring forums to learn about these things but am still undecided. Please let me know pros and cons of each. What's your favorite and why?

Not really the place to discuss addons such as these. A better place would be www.vbulletin.org.

Personally Vbadvanced I think is the superior, however it's going to be interested to see how the Vblog software will be fashionable to something akin to a front page.

Well its made for vBulletin unlike Joomla. Joomla is very good as a stand alone. I have never tried it with vBulletin though so I can't comment on that.

I'd go with Drupaltin instead of vbDrupal
              http://www.theoverclocked.com/drupaltin

I'm currently implementing it as my portal / CMS and because of my experience with Drupal I'm very happy with it.

I can verify that the integration works just fine - and it doesn't require any core edits to either Drupal or vB

There are interesting discussions about CMSs in the Chit-Chat section of this forum. Just search for CMS there. Here's one:
