  • Just Ordered vBulletin: Now What?

    I've just completed my paypal transaction for the purchase of an owned license of vB (~20 minutes ago) and am wondering what to do now.
    I just checked my email and there is no message from Jelsoft. No PM here either.

    What next?

    How quickly you get the license info depends on the payment method you use. The quickest is with PayPal using the funds in your PayPal account. This should take just a few minutes unless the payment was an eCheck payment, in which case it usually takes 3-5 business days to clear.

    The Metacharge credit card option also just takes a few minutes.

    The Worldpay credit card option can take up to 24 hours to be verified.
    Wire Transfers can take up to 4-6 business days.

    And finally checks can take as long as necessary for the check to reach us, be deposited and clear our bank.

    License information, regardless of payment method, is not issued until the payment clears our system.

      This is what I used. My Paypal account is with a credit card. Paypal shows the status as complete.


      This should take just a few minutes
      It's now been over an hour! Where should I be receiving notice of my account info?

        Did you check your junk e-mail to make sure your e-mail containing your customer number and password wasn't filtered there?

            I would give it a little more time, and then contact Jelsoft if you still have not received your customer e-mail containing your number and password. You should provide your PayPal transaction ID as proof of purchase.

              I'm having the same problem and I've contact the company twice already with no help at all. I'm not impressed so far, and a little worried, to be frank. I paid with paypal, which is already showing on my account...checked my junk mail folder...nothing as well.

              I just got an email from them, so hopefully it will be fixed soon.
