  • Renaming admincp during installation

Quick question. I cant seem to post anywhere else at present, so forgive me:-

Q :- If I change 'admincpdir' and 'modcpdir', during installation to equal newnameadmincp, and newnamemodcp.

It says 'please note that if you change the directory here, you still need to manually change the name of the directory on the server'

Could I ask someone to clarify (in idiots terms) what else I need to do? Or can I proceed with installation?

    Thankyou

You're showing up as licensed now.

I've posted a thread about how to do this in the quick tips forum for 3.6

I recommend to install vb first, then when it is done to change the directories. Not during install.
