    top rated threads on portal

    hi

Would it be possible to display links to the top-rated threads, outside of vbulletin?

For example in the phpFox portal front page, how hard would it be to display the top threads from vbulletin? This could be either the top-rated threads, or the most active threads?

And possibly a list of the sub-forums displayed on the external portal page?

Is activity (eg most active people, or most active threads) updated on a running basis, or is there some kind of regularly scheduled job that calculates who is the most active?

vBulletin seems so flexible and powerful it is intimidating to newcomers.

    thanks
    chris

There is no function to do this. This requires modifying the code. We cannot officially support code modifications or forums running modified code, however you can try searching or asking for help with this over at www.vbulletin.org.

On one hand you say vBulletin is intimidating because it has too many features and options, but you are asking for a feature that vBulletin does not have. Sorry if I see the humor in that.
