Restricting Threads

I would like to create a forum that charges a fee via Paypal in order to download files embedded within each thread.

Also, non-paying users are allowed to view the contents of the thread, but cannot download.

Is this possible to implement and automate with vbulliten?

You can do that! but the download you will need to install a hack that will not let non-paying members download the files.

The standard install can restrict downloading permissions per usergroup.
