  • Ability to allow group to post html/code?

    I have a question about a feature...

Does vbulletin have the capability to allow a certain user group or the admin to post html, javascript, embed objects etc. etc. in his own threads but disallow all other users/groups from doing this?

Would be a great feature. Seems it shouldnt be too horribly compicated to create a mask or conditional statement to check if a user has this permission and then allow code to be inserted into his/her post/thread.

There is a plugin over at vBulletin.org that adds this feature

        Thanks!

Anyone know if there are plans to add this feature to the vb standard build in the near future?

This must be a new feature in vB3.6.1?

Not that I'm aware of. The only HTML by usergroup setting is for sigs, not posts.

Use the Plugin. 10 seconds to install. No template mods.
