Same I have 5 domains with Godaddy and find it easy to use. Never had any problems either.

                GoDaddy not bad

I've got over a dozen domains registered through them but hosted elsewhere. Prices are pretty good, but I hear shared hosting is questionable. I recommend Dreamhost for that.

I agree with the domains being good there. Have heard not so nice things about their hosting, but I do my own there. 40+ domains registered with them and never a problem.

I've had some issues with them before. buying domains from them is no problem at all; transferring them is. one domain took me 2 weeks because their system refused to email me the authorization code to transfer a .org domain

Common question and everytime its asked, I've seen a ton of great replies for both GoDaddy and Namecheap. I use the latter myself.

I recommend namecheap. I just have one domain left - and then I have moved all my domains from godaddy to namecheap.

Just in case anyone searches for godaddy and starts asking about godaddy hosting, make sure you get a Linux account

You'll also need to use a custom php.ini to get around their disabled functions stuff.

Just switched to GD from another registrar. So far so good. The one thing I really like about them is the privacy. For $4.99 they set up a private email address and all the info listed when doing a whois on your domain does not show your personal info.
