Do they have a forum for their members? If so, ask around? and see which forum software they use.
    Otherwise, just ask 'em!

      You should check into Hostww.net

I've been with them for 10 months and they are really good

asmallorange.com is pretty established now and hostmaven.com seems to be hosting for forums too and otherwise any proper hosting company, check webhostingtalk.com for reviews and tips on hosting.

They look fine, althought from the size of the plans they offer they must oversell, which is a debated practice.

(I've been with http://asmallorange.com for a year and a half, and I'm very happy.)

I have been with them for over three years now. First on a shared plan, then a dedicated, now an owned server...

                You won't find better. Period.

Daivd... JaguarPC must be doing something right... I went to their website to have a look, check their forums, and I ended up buying one of their plans...

I had a few questions which I asked via email, it was one of the best responces i've had from a host. They took to time out to explain things to me... So I feel the customer support is great. I then glanced at the forums, customers seem to be VERY happy with the service, although new clients have little 'hicups'... So teething problems.

I'll let you know how I go with them but...

I'm not doubting asmallorange but that website is enough to make me turn away, just doesn't seem professional at all...

I was with eleven2. There were good to start... Support is a bit 'brief' although they did get the job done. but after about 9 months the server is becoming more and more unstable, and the site being down is almost a common occurance.

Sure, each to their own. I am sure you will be fine with JaguarPC, but please don't doubt ASO. They really are very good.

I have been with A Small Orange since before the A Small Orange brand was established and I am very happy with them too.

wow. I thought the same thing when I first went to their site. they dont even have a forum. I got scared away by pretty much everything on their site. it looks really really cheap, the site as a whole.

yea. I realized a VPS isnt for me. after talking with several board owners that own a site like the one I have in mind. I was told that shared hosting was the way to go.

plus a VPS requires some knowledge I just dont have.
