    Hello,

Im currently running Invision 2.1.6 (latest) im fed up with the constant security patches, so i've decided to choose vB.

Just before I go ahead & purchase is it easy to convert from Invision to vB - I assume there is tools available?

    Thanks,

    Carl

Yes, we have an import script for IPB. You can read about it here:

    http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/i...rsion=30501500 (IPB 2)

Please note that since IPB passwords are encrypted, they cannot be imported. Your users will need to reset their passwords after the import. You can read more about this here:

Note that vB releases security patches as well. No software is ever going to be free of exploits. Besides, security patches are a good thing. It shows that the developers are keeping their products up-to-date.

I moved from IPB to VB and had a friend write some code to port IPB passwords.
