Extra field required to post a new thread

Hi,
I am looking at using vBulletin, but I was wondering if its possible to add an extra required field when posting a new thread.

At the moment it has the Title field. I would like to add another field called Location. But this field to only be displayed when creating a new thread. When replying its not displayed.

Is this possible?

Hi

You'd have to modify the code to achieve such functionality. It's not too hard to do though. You'd have to ask for help with code modification on www.vbulletin.org

Hi,
thanks for your reply. I just tried to post my request in the vbulletin.org site but it says I need a license. I do not want to purchase the softare until I am 100% it is able to have the modication done. Is there any way around this?
