Converting to vBulletin while changing hosts?

As it seems I will have to change hosts if I want to use vBulletin (which I do...), I was wondering if it's possible to merge it all into one weekend...

I currently run an SMF forum, which I want to use the ImpEx Software to help me do. I'm wanting to do that while the domains propegate etc and was wondering if that will work. Do I just type in an address for the ImpEx, or do the files need to under the same host?

Basically I want to pull the SMF forum from Host A, into the vBulletin forum on Host B...

I'd suggest you move then import, not try to import while moving.

Okay, I half wondered that. I wanted to use the same sub-domain name (ie forums.domain.net) but I can just drop the s and make it at forum...

Yeah, same as Zach, I would suggest only doing one thing at a time. I tried doing both and I ended up moving first and THEN upgrading to vBulletin. It's too difficult if you try to do both at the same time.
