      I've found a fix

In httpd.conf, I've added this line:

      PHPIniDir /usr/local/etc/php

And it takes the correct php.ini

But with this modification, I've got a new problem... All the code after the last <? is displayed (just before 'if (is_array($test) AND is_array($e_test))'). For fix this, you must to set <?php instead of <? (php 5.x don't like <?, it prefer <?php)

default php.ini has short_tags off or something.

I dont think Mike has updated the file yet so I'll do it now.

Another thing: In the code of vb_test.php, I can see you check if PHP is most recent than 4.0.6 and for MySQL 3.23.34. But, in http://www.vbulletin.com/features.php, I can see PHP 4.3.3 and MySQL 4.0.16 for minimum requirements. What is correct ?

I may not remember the name but at least I remembered parts of it

The update to the vb_test file is to match the minimum requirements on the site and add MySQLi support. I updated it on Friday night but its not yet being published.
