I bought leased licence 2 years ago and i wasnt able to use it properly because there was/is no professional translation.

Now im looking to buy owned licence for forum soft and still see that free phpbb is better because it actually has pl language available any pl site with soft i look.

So what is the point in paying 160$ and then translating hundreds of pages? And if update is out searching where it is broken.

I wouldnt mind paying few $ more for buying it with full professional translation - but eaven this is not available.

Can you tell me whats the point of buying this soft for non us, uk, de and china users? When will you be adding support for other langs?

    Complete language translations of vBulletin:

    Turkish
    Arabic
    Danish
    Norweigan
    Portuguese
    German (independant)
    Swedish
    Greek
    French
    Spanish
    Dutch
    Thai
    German (Official)
    Chinese (Official)

    Partial translations:
    Polish
    Hungarian
    Romanian
    Albanian
    Russian
    Hebrew

You might want to look at this thread about the Polish translation. It's finished for 3.0, but not 3.5. There are probably 10% difference between vB3.0 and vB3.5.

I do wish that vBulletin would grab this project by the horns and compensate people for translating vBulletin into other languages.

      Hello,

With vBulletin 3 you can translate into many different languages using our Language Manager in the admin control panel. This allows you to translate the vBulletin language into your own language or several languages, as well as being able to import language packs created others. Your users can then select the language they prefer to view the board in.

We do have a Languages & Phrases forum where you can find packs donated by our customers and also receive help for creating your own:

      http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=87

Also, here's the forum containing downloads of the current Language Packs made available by our customers:

      http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=96

Please note, the Language Management System only covers the board text and not individual posts. The posts themselves will be displayed in the original language they were written in.

The only officcially suppported language packs at this time are English, German and Chinese. Members get support for this at the appropriate official vBulletin site.

We may or may not add more offical sites in the future. Until then we make a number of unofficial language packs available to our license customers from the generosity of the members creating and sharing these packs.
