  • Cannot order. FRUSTRATED AND CONFUSED.

Here's the story. I really cannot express my frustration with your support. And I really hope that someone will look finally into my case.

I already own a vbulletin license. As all of you I love vbulletin and it's features, no doubt.
Now I want to order 6 more licenses. I made the order, the credit card transaction went trough. Several hours ago I received an e-mail the transaction has been declined.

My 1st e-mail to vbulletin - NO RESPONSE.

    Hello vBulletin,

I am really surprised about this issue.

Why are you cancelling my transaction at all? I am already a vbulletin
license holder and now I just want to order 6 more licenses.

I fully understand the risks of fraud but I am almost 100% sure that
you are cancelling my transaction because I am from a risk country
    like Bulgaria.

I am ready to send you all documents you need and also I want you to
contact my bank. Actually I insist.

PayPal does not work with my country. Checks are not used in Bulgaria.
If I send you a wire I can kiss the discount for 6 licenses good bye.

    Awaiting your response.
Waited one day for someone to respond and sent another e-mail with almost the same text, here's the copy-paste response from Vbulletin, I bet they didn't read my questions at all, just the subject:

    > The currently available payment options are:

    > 1. Credit card
    > --- via Metacharge (Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Visa Electron, American Express-USD only)
    > --- via WorldPay (Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Switch, JCB and Solo)
    > --- via PayPal (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro,
    > Delta, Electron, Switch, Eurocard and Solo)

    > 2. PayPal
    > --- Out of PayPal funds
    > --- Transfer out of Bank account attached to PayPal

    > 3. Check (includes Money Orders)

    > 4. Wire Transfer from existing bank account

    > You can order online here:

    > Surely one of them will work. Did you try WorldPay or MetaCharge?
    Story continues.....

So once again I have to write the same things, for 3rd time and wait for someone to actually READ my mail.

    Here's my response:

    Hello vBulletin,

I know very well what are the payment options.

I have tried both WorldPay or MetaCharge. I got declined by MetaCharge
and WorldPay refused to process the transaction. How come? Why don't
you call my bank and settle the things with them. How will I be able
    to order now?

PayPal does not operate with my country, checks are not available here
too. The fee for $820(cost of 6 vbulletin licenses) wire transfer
would be like $100. Why should I pay that fee and not take advantage
    of vbulletin's discount?

I have a credit card and I want you to process my credit card, call
my bank, request copies of the front and back of the card or whatever
    you want.

I want to order 6 vbulletin licenses and I really really hope that you
will cooperate with WordPay in order to process that transaction. The
ID of the WordPay's transaction from yesterday(note: that's friday) is - WorldPay
    151585465.

I am a little bit disapointed to be honest. I know you are concerned
about fraud and stuff but the fact that I live in Bulgaria and that
Bulgaria is a high risk country for credit card transactions does not
mean that we there are not normal people here too.

Hint: I already own a vbulletin license and it was paid with the same
credit card which was declined yesterday.

    Awaiting your response asap.
When I waked up today I called my bank, just wanted to make sure everything with my card is okay and asked why didn't this transaction went trough. I was shocked when they said that my card was charged with the sum for 6 licenses and the money wasn't returned after that. Now excuse my language but WTF? Does someone there really care?

Until now I have no response or explanation from Vbulletin. I am waiting for their support to wake up finally and call them. I hope they will clear the things up.
In the meantime I would be glad if some official Vbulletin representative responds to my situation somehow. I really want to order 6 vbulletin licenses and pay with my credit card.

    Thanks for your attention.

Ashley responded a little while after you wrote this and told you that the purchase was held because the billing address you used did not match the info your card company said was valid for your card. At the time of this writing 17 hours later you have not responded with the info Ashley asked for to verify and process your order.

Okay, thanks for your response and thanks for the response of Ashley.

I sent 3 replies to Ashley's e-mail yesterday, I think you should check how your anti spam filters work.

FYI my billing address hasn't changed since I made my first Vbulletin purchase.

Check your PM for my billing address and confirm that you have received it please.

        Awaiting your response.
