  • Same forum and multiple domains with multiple languages

I would like to set up the forum in the way that it supports different languages. For example the visitors visits forum.mywebsite.com I would like to show him English version of the forum and when he enters forum.mywebsite.de he would see the German version. Both forums would be the same (same forums, categories) but would have different themes and different languages. Is it OK with one vB license?

According to this post different themes on different domains are OK but how about different languages?

I believe this is answered in the thread that you have linked to:

Your forum is accessable from multiple domains and your forums are configured to show/hide certain forums based on the domain. This is not OK and requires an active vBulletin license for each domain. In this situation the forums appear to have separate content thereby making them separate forums in the eyes of the license agreement. Your forum content needs to be the same for each domain in order to qualify as a single forum.
This is the only way I can see such an idea being implemented.

      But...
Your forum is accessable from multiple domains and your forums are configured to show/hide certain forums based on the domain
This would not be the case.. On both domains the same forums would be visible (German and English forums together) but only the selected language and theme would differ. I don't think this can be considered "different content" since language selection and themes are built-in features of vBulletin. So?
