Loggin in with ASP

Hi, I am more or less ready to buy vb now, just on final question if I may.

I have no problem writing code to add user accounts to the VB database when people register, but is it possible to log people in and out of VB using ASP, as in do I have to mess with some session variables/cookies and can I do that if they are PHP session variables?

Integrating vBulletin with a non-vB member system would require a rather extensive modification of the code. Of course, we cannot provide official support for code modifications. What most people do is modify their current system to use the vB member system.
