Can anyone tell me what is the font used in vbulletin logo ?

IIRC it's a custom font, so you can't download it.

It's a tweaked version of the "Industria Solid" font.

It is basically the Industria Solid font with the little tail on the "n" if I am not mistaken.

There is no such thing as custom fonts my friend. If that is what you say, then I'll make my own custom fonts and sell them for over $100.

Of course there are custom fonts... why shouldn't there be?
And you're free to make your own and sell them, allthough be aware that there's more to font's then just serifs...
Have a look at the links here for example: http://www.microsoft.com/typography/...sOverview.mspx

Or the details with which even a simple font is made, according to this picture:

There are several legal sites on the net that sell fonts. You can Google for one of those or check a local computer store that sell disks with fonts.

I would assume that means that the font being discussed is infact not readibly availiable for dl?

Google it. It costs about $22. I've noticed that most fonts used in commerical products (vBulletin, IPB, etc.) generally are commercial fonts.

What I do not get is how people get them?

What I mean is do they come with some programs sometimes? Like Word or Word perfect?

I didn't think of Font buying as all that popular.

I mean it could be as far as I know.

I was just at a computer and found some font disks. One of them had the Industria Solid, Williams Pinball and other fonts on them. The disk was $49 and even had a font editor on it.
