Yeah, you always get free forum and ticket support with vBulletin...Although the phone support is somewhat pricey, forum and ticket questions/problems/reports/etc. get answered pretty fast too

If someone with an owned license does not get the $30 annual access at the end of the first year but decides to wait until a later time, are they able to renew at any time in the future and just pay the $30 (or whatever the current fee may be) annual access fee?

Yes - the next years starts from the date you renew your members area access. This policy also encourages the software company to release regular updates to encourage those lapsed members to renew. Works both ways.

Actually if you wish to continue the leased license for another year, you simply pay another $85 before the year is up or upgrade to a owned license at the then current rate, currently $160.

With a leased license you get 1 year access to the Member's Area, and then that's it, no more access. Also, you must shut down your forum after that year

No, thats not true Kimmikat, you only get to upgrade a leased license to an owned for another 85 dollars if you choose to do so in the first 30 days.
