Why can't Snitz passwords be migrated?

Before deciding on purchasing vBulletin, I had completed a full conversion to CommunityServer 2.0 forums during our product evaluation.

I found a Snitz-to-CommunityServer convertor that brought forth the password from Snitz.

I'm thinking that this could be done somehow for vBulletin. I'm going to look at the code of the snitz-to-community server convertor to see how this was accomplished.

If I find an answer, I will definitely post it here.

    Snitz uses SHA256 algorithm.

It's a really old thread, and the content has moved here.

widgetinstance 262 (Related Topics) skipped due to lack of content & hide_module_if_empty option.
