Better Question: How about you give me some reasons on why not to buy it? (It could be hard to think of one)

But anyways, the vBulletin software is easy to a user with minimal experience with php. html, and mysql. You will not find friendlier support in any other related product, the staff are quick, knowlegable, and do not ask you to, "Use the Search Button" like other companies do such as phpBB or Invision Power Services.

While all the stock features are usually enough for the average end user, alot of people need more. vBulletin.Org hosts a large number of hacks and modifications to the code, a larger database most of vBulletin's largest competetors, as well as vBulletintemplates.com hosts many template hints and modifications to help you out as you are tweaking your style.

But one of the main reasons I went with vBulletin because when I would see the footer saying, "Powered by vBulletin" I would be more persuaded to join it than an IPB, Simpleboard, or phpbb forum.

vBulletin is one of the best forum scripts out there. I've tried phpBB, I've been with IPB, and when I finally had some money, I bought vB.

Choosing a forum software requires you to carefully look at all the features they offer, and see how that fits with your site or the vision you have of your site.

vBulletin is proven, tested and true.. and they offer great support to their users, which in my opinion is one of the greatest thing a company can do -- prioritize customer care.

phpBB is probably the second best, and look how unsecure it is. You hear about them being hacked all the time.

          'Nuff said.

              1 reason - continous learning

phpbb got boring - I ran out of things to screw up and have to figure out to fix
