  • New Features in vBulletin version 3

    Hi,

Anywhere I can get information on the new features in version 3 as compared to version 2? Need this info to do a brief to my management.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Darren:

This is the closest thing available to what is in vB3.x.

          Hello Darren,

Thank you for your interest in the vBulletin forum software.

If you purchase a license you will be able to download either 3.0.7 or 2.3.6 - the license is not version-dependent. My suggestion is to get version 3.0.7 as version 2.x is currently in a grace period and no longer in development. Over time support will probably be dropped.

A nearly complete list of features can be found here:
          http://www.vbulletin.com/features.php

And our on-line manual has detailed information about the admin control panel, and many more:
          http://www.vBulletin.com/docs/html

If you want to get a taste of vBulletin version 3 prior to purchase you can request a free demo here:
          http://www.vbulletin.com/admindemo

You will get your own private installation hosted on our server with a full administrator account to test our the admin control panel and the vBulletin features. The demo automaticly expires after 24 hours. (If you require more time you can simply request a new demo).

We're looking forward to your purchase and if you require more information feel free to ask.

            Hi Floris,

I have just bought 2, one after another. However, after I bought the first one (3.0.6), 3.0.7 was released. Just wondering what are being done/patched in 3.0.7?

            Thanks.

If you purchased one or more licenses, thank you. Don't forget to set yourself up for priority support.

http://www.vbulletin.com/members/mem...t_priority.php Enter your vbulletin.com/forum email address in the input field and you are all setup!

More information about the 3.0.7 release can be found here in our public announcement forum:
