    Purchase question

Okay if we purchased a lease license and choose to pay the remaining balence towards ownership within the month or two would that be accepted ?
or would we have to wait till the years up and then pay the 160

You have 30 days inwhich to upgrade from a leased to an owned license for an additional 85 dollars, if it is after the first 30 days it will cost 160 to upgrade to an owned license.

Actually there is i was using invisionboard 1.3 now its hacked big time.
now the onlything i really want to accomplish with switching is grabbing the members the posts and the categories/ topics

i dont care attachments avatars or any of the profile stuff.

just there account name. the posts and post count they achieved. then the categorys/topics/forums whatever ya want to call them

any easy way of doing this

if i dump the tables there gonna have stuff that i wont want to import since its hacked in the members table like moods and stuff like that

This is the latest IPB (1.1 - 1.3) importer. However if your board was compromised by a hacking incident, it may not work.

Update: Small note...by hacking incident, I'm refering to a hacker compromising your board, not modifying it.

If you codehacked your board, the importers are only capable of importing a stock setting board. It should work on a codehacked board assuming any codehacks installed didn't modify key elements of the database, but no guarentees. It's only capable of importing a default setup.

I got a feeling he meant his IPB is heavily modified.

Yea you might be right...i hate how the word "hacked" can be meant hacker broken in and someone modifying a board for their own purposes.

                  you are correct

also is there anything that really works with sharing the members tables between postnuke and vbulletin i been looking around and i seen something at vbulletin.org but really interested in being able to bring my invision users to vbulletin then converting the vbulletin/ postnuke to use the same members so there no need for two signups.

http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showt...light=Postnuke <---- not to sure if that will work with the current versions though

I currently share userdata between vBulletin and PHPNuke and another platform called ezDatabase and they work really well. However in order to prevent errors, I basically made vBulletin as the central data management and have it distribute and manage the data throughout the entire network.

that seams like more work then i actually need from the forum though. i dont really need any content generated from the forum to coexist with the postnuke. i am sure some has to since with the member tables in sql they would both store some info that would exist in both.

like examples aol msn email name and stuff like that.

if i could just have some type of script that could generate a output to two things at once that would work as well. so say you sign up for the postnuke site it would send the info needed to the postnuke table. and then at the same time it would also send the info to the vbulletin system as well on another database.

and vice versa but as i say that the script that would need to be done to do that would probably just be simpler to merge both member tables somehow so they both would send to the same table and read from the same table.

Ps: okay steve i will as soon as vb sends the info to get the forum still waiting on that.

It depends on the method payment you have used

As BlueFlame stated this depends on the purchase method. For more help, please email [email protected] with all the info about your purchase.
