No? He said that none of his designer friends could make one like I did...

No, it was an explanation - which you asked for.

Oh okay, I just thought I could show people my work and see what there thoughts were... also, how did I presume that I had a vB license?

I said: "Once I get one, I'll code these."

The other thread got closed because you provide evidence of running vBulletin without having a license. And because you are advertising which breaks our forum rules. Apologies for not having send a PM to you as I was occupied with previous work.

You are also not allowed to send anyone files you have modified if they are from the stock vBulletin zip.

No, the software is copyrighted. You do not have permission to distribute any vBulletin code. You are only allowed to run 1 instance, on your own site. You can modify the code for your own needs. You are not allowed to rebrand the software.

So if I coded a vB on one license, I would have to give that license up/?

I'm really new to vbulletin, but I will give you what info I think is correct. Better wait for a mod to reply before trusting me though .

I think with each license you buy, you can only use that copy on one server. That means, if you buy one license you cant have it running on more than one server.

If you want a copy for your friend, you'd probably have to buy two lisences.

    Hope that cleared it up.
