Some Pre-Sales Questions

1) When purchasing vBulletin, I want to use Paypal. Am I required to use credit card numbers?

2) I currently have an IPB board with many modifications. Do I pay extra fees for conversion? (I don't need to preserve the modifications. All I need to transfer are essential information.)

3) If I convert IPB to vBulletin, will it look exactly the same in vBulletin as it would have been if I started out with vBulletin originally? I've seen a forum being converted from Phpbb to IPB and some features in IPB did not look well as it does when you start out with IPB originally.

1. Yes, you can use PayPal without a credit card.

2. We have an importer, but it will only import the data from a standard IPB database. You can read about the Importers here:

3. The imported data will look just like a standard vB forum, uuntil you customize it.

If you have money in your paypal account, paypal will give you the option to pay from your existing funds.

Thank you for your intrest in vBulletin, however our software is a professional commercial bulletin board solution that costs $160, or $85 a year for a leased license - which we believe is ranged lower then average competition. We do not offer discounts at this time

This is because you can use a credit card with paypal.
But using paypal you have the option to either use eCheck, credit card or the funds from paypal. I suggest using the funds from the paypal balance. It is fast.
