is there a version of vB that i can buy that is purely made in CSS? as i want to be able to make a new site, and have it built totally out of CSS, and would like the Forum to be the same. Is vB going to be made in CSS later on in the year? if so, plz can i have a date, so i can go out and buy when the time comes?

here is a thread:
This is not an April Fool thing. My goal is that I get completely table free style of vBulletin. I know that is not easy, but It will be worth it. Check it out http://www.skelm.com/forum A bit of more detail can be available at this (http://www.skelm.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3) post. Feel free to view page source andComment

This sort of thing really bugs me, people seem intent on making everything table less when there isn't much need to do so.
OK for the most part many areas of the vB template could be tableless, however according to the W3C specs tables are for data. Well I think, for example, the main forumhome or forumdisplay tables are a good example of data tables. In that respect vB is using tables just fine.Comment

Being waist-deep in DIVs and SPANs saves time over a well-designed table?
If you're waste deep in div's and span's then you're doing something wrong.
And the amount of time it takes to make an entirely CSS page display properly in IE is not trivial.
Another site I recently did took a little while to start up because we used a lot of Javascript, but after I got all the initial functions figured out, it's completely trivial. I have three dozen html files, and I can change the entire design in all of them at once by modifying two or three files(and I know because I've had to do it three or four times), and it works perfectly in each browser I've tested it in.
The only possible reason I would have to make that project use a tabled design would be if I had some sort of insane desire to edit dozens of files repeatedly for no good reason.
And contrary to popular belief, tables and css aren't mutually exclusive. A table based design is mutually exclusive to a css design.
vb3 is a big step up, but can still use improvement in this area.Comment

Let's just agree this is a matter of personal preference for now? I'm sick and tired of seeing this CSS Vs Tables debate everywhere. Is there really any need for it to span into a pre-sales questions thread?
