  • re: ISP

    Hi everyone,
I've just bought a VBulletin system and have a question with regards to finding out peopels ISP addresses. How do you find out the ISP or a member and who can view the ISP? On my old Ezboard system, the ISP view could be turned on and off so that only admins could see the number.
    Is that the case here?

    Thanks

What do you mean by ISP? Also, please go here:

    http://www.vbulletin.com/members/mem...t_priority.php

...and enter your email address in one of the boxes. You'll need to have your customer number and password to access the page.

If you still have problems after doing this, send an email to [email protected]. Please include your user name, the email address you registered with and your customer number so we can fix the problem.

Once you've done this, please post in the appropriate support forum for your version.

You can ban a user through the modcp/ directory. By username.
Additionally if you have 'log IP, show public, or to staff only' turned on, you can click on that button in the post and see the IP, goto the vBulletin Options > User banning options > and add the IP to the list there.
