  • Sales Question

    Hello vBulletin,

I am rather new to this community, actually this is my first day here.
Before making the choice to buy a vBulletin hosted board I'd like to ask you guys a couple of questions if you wouldn't mind answering them for me that would be excellant!

    Questions

    1) What exaclty is the price range on vBulletin boards these days? Is there a customer service program of some sort I join for a price?

    2) Say I'd like to come up with my own forum hosting company, would I be allowed to host it off vBulletin or would you guys not allow any vB hosted boards to host other boards off your forum software?

That's all I've got to ask for now, like I said, I'm rather new to this community so please forgive me for any misunderstanding/obvious questions, thanks in advance guys & gals.

    Ali.

The price is $160.00 for a perpetual license per installation. Each license comes with free support via email and these forums and includes 1 year of upgrades. After that each year of upgrades has a nominal fee which is currently $30.00.

Hmm, I see, thank you very much for clearing that up Wayne, I'll be looking into purchasing a license then.
Just one small thing that I'm still a tad bit unclear about:
You would have to buy a license per installation.
So you're saying if I purchase the vBulletin license and pay for yearly upgrades in the system I'd be allowed to do so? Thanks alot Wayne.

No, you would have to purchase a license for each hosted forum.
