Making one board out of two IPB's

Hey all,

I currently own two invison board forums related to the same topic, Computers.

I wish to somehow merge the two into one forum and convert them to vBulletin.

So I will have a brand new domain name and a brand new vbulletin licence as if i were making a new site but the two old sites will be converted to vbulletin and merged into one site on the new domain name.

Is this possible, And how should I go about doing it?

Hi there,

First, you buy vBulletin, then you can get the import script for ipb 1.x and import one forum, then the other forum, and you are done. I am sure the import script is able to import from more then one system into vbulletin - even if they are the same boards.

I think, but dont quote me, you could import one, then the other into the same vBulletin Database.

i have seen it done before with vB2 for the ubb importers.

You can associate users via the importer.
